Hai Phong: Many exciting activities to celebrate National Day September 2

VHO - Hai Phong City has been preparing many large-scale events, starting from the end of August and lasting until October to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day September 2.

This is an opportunity for Hai Phong to introduce its achievements, promote its image, and affirm its position as a modern industrial port city in the general development flow of the country.

From August 28 to September 5, 2025, Hai Phong participated in the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi ).

With the theme “Hai Phong – Faith and aspiration to rise with the country”, Hai Phong city brings nearly 10,000 m² of outdoor exhibition space with 80 booths of 80 typical enterprises of Hai Phong.

The purpose of introducing and promoting the image of an innovative, developed and integrated Hai Phong with outstanding achievements in key areas such as: Economic development; Foreign affairs and international integration; Social security; National defense and security; Science, Education and Training; Culture, Sports and Tourism... is expressed through 11 thematic groups.

Hai Phong's exhibition booth promises to be a highlight, recreating the 80-year journey of fighting, building and integrating of the Port City.

Cultural, artistic and commemorative activities

On September 1, 2025, the leaders of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City will hold an incense offering ceremony to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the City's Martyrs Monument and the Nguyen Duc Canh Monument. This is an activity with profound gratitude, connecting the revolutionary tradition with today's generation.

On the evening of September 2, a special art program to celebrate National Day will take place at Hai Phong City Theater Square and the Eastern Cultural Center Square. The program will be broadcast live on Hai Phong's channels and digital platforms, combined with fireworks, creating a vibrant and vibrant atmosphere on the great national festival.

In parallel, the city also organizes many cultural, artistic and sports activities until October. Photo and documentary exhibition "80 years of the heroic song of Independence" (August 19 - September 5, 2025) at the Xu Dong Cultural Center; thematic exhibition "Imprints of historical autumn" (August 22 - October 2025) at the Hai Phong Museum; the first Hai Phong Royal Court Music Festival (August 29 - 31, 2025) at the special national relic site of the Mac King Temple... All create a multi-colored picture, blending tradition and modernity.

The series of activities is not only an opportunity to look back on the glorious journey of the nation and the city, but also to arouse a new aspiration: to build a rich, civilized Hai Phong, reaching out to the sea with the country.
