Hanoi recreates traditional and creative spaces at the National Achievements Exhibition

VHO - The space "Hanoi Tradition and Creativity 2025" - a special highlight, contributing to promoting achievements in culture, tourism, and creative industries - key areas in the pillar economic sectors of the Capital.

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the Hanoi People's Committee organized the Hanoi Traditional and Creative Space 2025 - a special highlight, contributing to promoting achievements in culture, tourism, and creative industries - key areas in the capital's pillar economic sectors: Agriculture, Tourism and Industry and Trade.

Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen and leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade, Science and Technology came to work, inspect and urge the completion of Hanoi's exhibition space.

The space is part of the National Achievements Exhibition event on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) with the theme 80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness.

With the theme of Tradition and Creativity , the space is a blend of tradition and modernity, between countryside and urban, between heritage and technology.

The space is arranged as a continuous flow from the past to the future, to honor the traditional values ​​that have shaped the cultural identity of Thang Long, while converging and spreading creative ideas, pioneering spirit and aspirations of the Capital.

Thereby, portraying the image of a new Hanoi - brave, civilized, creative, ready to accompany the country into a new era - the era of national growth.

The spaces are divided into 6 main contents:

Handicraft exhibition space - theme "Red lines of Hanoi": a space to honor traditional handicraft values, built up through many ups and downs of history of building and defending the country.

From ceramics, bamboo, lacquer to mother-of-pearl inlay… each product on display not only showcases sophisticated craftsmanship but also contains the creativity, passion and love of the craftsman. All blend together to create a brilliant highlight in the cultural picture of Hanoi.

The space is dotted with typical cultural symbols of Thang Long - Hanoi such as One Pillar Pagoda and Khue Van Cac, creating a visual impression and reminding of historical roots and cultural depth, contributing to highlighting the spiritual value of handicraft products.

Craft Village Performance Space - Theme: The Quintessence of Craft Streets : Hanoi - a land of a thousand years of culture with more than 1,000 traditional craft villages, a typical feature that is rarely found anywhere else. Many craft villages have existed for hundreds of years, and are still preserved and passed down intact to this day as part of the soul of the Capital.

The Quintessence of Craft Street is a meeting place for talented artisans - the "peacetime soldiers" who silently protect and pass on the flame of traditional crafts. Here, visitors can listen to the ups and downs of the craft, feel the intense love for the craft and the burning desire to preserve the quintessence of the craft that their ancestors left behind.

Standing out in the space is the display area of ​​ornamental plants with works and bonsai trees of high artistic value, creating a peaceful space in harmony with nature.

In addition, traditional art performances such as ca tru, xam, cheo, tuong, ao dai performance... are held in the communal house yard, creating a cultural space imbued with Vietnamese identity in general and honoring the elegant and refined life of ancient Hanoians in particular.
