According to the organizers, this year's theme is to build a model of a contemporary Vietnamese Buddhist cultural festival, honoring the spirit of compassion, wisdom, and harmony; connecting Buddhism with national culture and contemporary art, targeting the young generation, international audiences, and the global Buddhist community.

Compositions participating in the campaign are in the following categories: Literature and Arts, Music and Performing Arts, Fashion and Applications, Festival Architecture, Design, Media and Publishing, Festival Cuisine, Community Experience and Activities, and Interdisciplinary Cooperation.

The movement “Enlightening the Way in Life” aims to create and form a bank of contemporary Buddhist art heritage, as a cultural foundation for today and tomorrow. Through the power of art forms, the program hopes to spread Buddhism into life, so that the light of religion is present in every breath of life, contributing to “enlightening the Way in life”, nurturing a good soul.

Signed an agreement with the Vietnam Writers Association on writing Buddhist themes in literature.

This is also a journey to awaken community creativity, nurture a generation of artists, intellectuals and Buddhists attached to Buddhism, and at the same time connect inter-sectoral and inter-generational, join hands to build the cultural heritage of contemporary Vietnamese Buddhism, accompanying the national culture. According to Venerable Thich Tho Lac, Head of the Central Cultural Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha: "The profound goal of the program is to shape the Buddhist cultural lifestyle in society, to create a community that knows how to live in harmony, love, gratitude and strive for enlightenment, liberation and wisdom".

On this occasion, the Central Cultural Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha signed a communication cooperation agreement with 6 central cultural and artistic associations, including: Vietnam Fine Arts Association, Vietnam Writers Association, Vietnam Musicians Association, Vietnam Stage Artists Association, Vietnam Architects Association and Vietnam Folk Arts Association.
