On June 9, the leader of the Internal Affairs Department of the People's Committee of Ky Anh District ( Ha Tinh ) announced that a disciplinary decision had been made to force Mr. Tran Dang Giang (born in 1978, Math teacher, Ky Khang Secondary School) and Mr. Ho Van Thuan (born in 1978, Math teacher, Ky Phu Secondary School) to quit their jobs. Mr. Quang and Mr. Thuan violated discipline by leaving their jobs to go to Korea to find new jobs.
Previously, Mr. Tran Dang Giang and Mr. Ho Van Thuan had requested leave to go to the hospital, then did not return to work at school.
According to a report from Ky Khang Secondary School, on February 12, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh (Mr. Giang’s wife) came to the school to submit a request for leave to see a doctor. Three days later, Ms. Binh came to the school to submit Mr. Giang’s resignation letter.
On February 17, the Principal of Ky Khang Secondary School contacted Mr. Giang to hold a council meeting to consider his resignation application but was unsuccessful. Afterwards, the school called Mr. Giang's wife and she confirmed that Mr. Giang had gone to Korea to find a job. Therefore, Ky Khang Secondary School reported the incident to the District People's Committee.
According to Ky Khang Secondary School, Mr. Giang left his job without permission for 3 months. The school notified him 3 times but he did not show up for work. After reporting to his superiors and receiving instructions, the school issued a disciplinary order forcing Mr. Giang to quit his job.
Previously, the Vice Principal of Ky Xuan Secondary School also voluntarily quit his job to go to Korea.
In the case of Mr. Thuan, on January 15, his family went to Ky Phu Secondary School to submit a request for leave for him to see a doctor. On January 18, Mr. Thuan sent a message on the school union's Zalo group to announce that he had gone to work in Korea. After that, Mr. Thuan sent a resignation letter by post and has not been present at the school to teach since then.
Ky Phu Secondary School sent out notices inviting Mr. Thuan's family to work many times, but he was absent. The school reported to the Ky Anh District People's Committee for advice. Ky Phu Secondary School also held a meeting and issued a disciplinary decision to force Mr. Thuan to quit his job.
Previously, as reported by VTC News, the People's Committee of Ky Anh district decided to discipline education officials by "forcing dismissal" against Mr. Le Van Quynh (born in 1978), Vice Principal of Ky Xuan Secondary School. Mr. Quynh was disciplined for seriously violating the regulations, rules, and working regulations of the public service unit.
Since March 8, 2023, Mr. Quynh has not come to work at the agency even though Ky Xuan Secondary School has sent him three work invitations.
According to the report of the Principal, Chairman of the Trade Union of Ky Xuan Secondary School and Mr. Quynh's wife, this person quit his job to find another job that suits his conditions and family circumstances. They affirmed that Mr. Quynh's voluntary resignation stemmed from his personal needs and wishes, family circumstances and circumstances, and not for any other reason.
