Currently the project site is under construction day and night.

In the middle of Kim Dong Street in the past, there is now an open tunnel dug nearly ten meters deep.

Although it is a key project of the city, the joint police - transport sector agreed to require the investor and contractor to implement the plan: Construction must be carried out while ensuring traffic on the road.

Recently, the project has completed one side of the tunnel at the intersection and removed the fence to widen the roadway to facilitate traffic during the end of the year.

Speaking to Tien Phong reporter, the representative of the investor, the Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, said that the Ring Road 2.5 tunnel project has so far completed about 60% of its output. Currently, the project is no longer facing any major difficulties in terms of site clearance and is focusing on constructing underground items.

Recently, the project has completed the construction of the main tunnel sections H3B, H4B... located on Giai Phong Street in the direction of the inner city to Ngoc Hoi. In the near future, the project will proceed to construct tunnel sections from H2B to H5B located on Giai Phong Street in the direction of Ngoc Hoi - inner city.

"When constructing the tunnel segments on this road, the project had to erect fences, occupying the entire roadway in the direction of Ngoc Hoi - inner city. However, at the end of the year, there are many vehicles, so in order not to affect people's travel, the fences here will not take place from now until the peak travel season of Tet At Ty" - said a representative of the Traffic Department.

The tunnel has a total investment of 778 billion VND. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2025, the investor said, and this progress is being guaranteed.
