Tempest's Hanbin burst into tears at his first concert in his home country of Vietnam

This concert in Ho Chi Minh City is the first stop for Tempest's first global tour. At the concert, the 6 "storm" boys including Hanbin, Eunchan, Hyuk, Taerae, Lew, Hyeongseop brought their peaks to the stage, showing off their performance strengths and stirring up the atmosphere with nearly 4,000 fans gathered.

At exactly 7:00 p.m., Tempest stepped onto the stage, the audience exploded with cheers and applause. Immediately after, the "storm house" boys performed a series of 3 hit theme songs of the group: Lighthouse, Dragon and Vroom Vroom . These songs are respectively included in the EP TEMPEST Voyage released in early 2024, the EP On and On and the single album Into The TEMPEST released in 2023.

Right after the opening act that warmed up the atmosphere, each Tempest member introduced themselves and sent an official greeting directly to thousands of their fans here in Vietnamese.

Hanbin started with excitement: "Finally, our concert was held in Vietnam - my hometown". Leader Lew continued: "When we heard that we could hold a concert in Vietnam, we shouted really loudly, even happier than Hanbin".

Eunchan also confided: "Actually, for us, Vietnam is like a second home." The group's main vocalist Hyuk agreed: "Hanbin's hometown is also our hometown." It can be said that the enthusiastic sharing of the 6 members of Tempest has captured the hearts of fans.

In another development, because they have a "home-grown" foreign language teacher, throughout the concert in Ho Chi Minh City, Tempest often "showed off" their Vietnamese talent. In addition to simple but emotional sentences like "We love you so much", "Thank you", the members were also challenged by Hanbin to pronounce Vietnamese at a higher level, such as "Let's go together for a long time", "Are you happy?" or "I will come to Vietnam more often".

Tempest's first concert in Vietnam can be said to be a colorful and "fan-pleasing" music party, when the group performed songs that received the love of a large audience, selected from all 6 EPs (5 Korean, 1 Japanese) and 1 single album that the boys have released since their debut, with many different styles and genres, such as hip-hop, dance, Hybrid Trap, Deep House, Pop...

Among them, some other hits made their name, helping Tempest maximize their performance strengths, bringing explosive performances at the concert, making fans "restless". These include: Young & Wild, Start Up, Dive, Find Me, Bang!, Raise Me Up, BOK, Bad News, Freak Show, Dangerous,....

Through the performances, the audience was also "captured" by the "divine" performance ability of the 6 "storm" boys, especially the powerful vocals of Hyuk and Hanbin, the extremely "powerful" rapping skills of Lew and Taerae, or the "no dead angle" visuals of Eunchan and Hyeongseop.

As the day progressed, the air became hotter and hotter.

In the hot summer weather, Tempest remained in good form, singing and dancing for hours on end, delivering eye-catching performances with quality from sound to sight, as well as plenty of extremely energetic and friendly interactions with fans.

In response to their idol, iE Viet - the group's fandom name - also enthusiastically created a fanchants sign, continuously singing along to familiar songs and chanting in Korean in unison, making the 6 members admire and be moved.

The atmosphere of the concert was hotter than ever, making nearly 4,000 spectators at Phu Tho Stadium burst into emotion, when Tempest performed the highlight of the music night, singing in Vietnamese the song Chiec khan gio am, followed by a cover of Big Bang's legendary hits including Fantastic Baby and Bang Bang Bang.

Sharing the reason for choosing Warm Wind Scarf as a special gift to the audience at the group's first concert in Vietnam, Hanbin said that this is a Vpop song he used to listen to during his school days. Many audiences were surprised and praised the Vietnamese pronunciation of the remaining members of the group.

On the other hand, the song Fantastic Baby was performed by Tempest in a music event in Korea before and received enthusiastic support from the Korean public and the international fan community, because covering songs by the legendary YG boy band is not an easy thing. At the concert in Ho Chi Minh City, the "storm" band continued to cover another hit by Big Bang, Bang Bang Bang , and made Phu Tho Stadium really explode with music.

Members express love for Vietnam

Tempest's first concert in Ho Chi Minh City lasted 3 hours, the "storm" boys performed a total of 23 songs. Before the end of the concert, Tempest performed the custom of shouting the slogan "It's we! Hello, we are Tempest" which made fans burst with emotion, regretful for having to say goodbye to their idol.

In the moment of saying goodbye to his fans at his first live concert in his homeland, Hanbin could not hide his emotions, he kept wiping his eyes and chokingly shared: "For Tempest, the concert in Vietnam is a gift, but for me it is like a dream. Thank you for loving us, thank you for coming here, thank you for calling "Hung oi".

Tempest is a 7-member Korean idol boy group, formed in March 2022, under Yuehua Entertainment. Notably, member Hanbin, who is the lead vocalist and lead dancer of the group, is a Vietnamese idol, real name Ngo Ngoc Hung, born in 1998 in Yen Bai , graduated from the International Faculty majoring in Marketing, Hanoi University of Commerce.

After more than 2 years since debut, Tempest has achieved many achievements, winning rookie, new group, and promising artist trophies at many prestigious music awards ceremonies in Korea such as: Genie Music Awards 2022, Asia Artist Award 2022, Seoul Music Awards 2023, Hanteo Music Awards 2022,...

This is the second time Tempest has come to Vietnam to perform. The first time was in December 2023 at the HOZO International Music Festival 2023.
