Attending the welcoming ceremony at Truc Lam Yen Tu Palace (Quang Ninh), there were Mr./Ms. Nguyen Xuan Thang - Member of the Politburo , Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; Vu Dai Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Trinh Thi Minh Thanh - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Duc An, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee; Vu Quyet Tien, Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee; provincial leaders; leaders of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha; Executive Board of the Quang Ninh Provincial Buddhist Sangha, along with a large number of monks, Buddhists, people and tourists from all directions.

Thousands of volunteers were mobilized to guide and support people and Buddhists who came to worship. At the same time, fire prevention and crowd control measures were also deployed synchronously and professionally by the authorities.
The welcoming and enthronement ceremony was organized by the Executive Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Buddhist Sangha with the most solemn and sacred ritual ever. The entire congregation chanted the Buddha's birthday ritual; at the same time, their hearts were respectfully turned to the Buddha's relics, praying for national peace and prosperity, and world peace. The Venerables from India also performed the sect's ritual in the Pali language.

After the ceremony, the Executive Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Buddhist Sangha organized for monks, nuns, Buddhists, people and tourists from all over to enter Truc Lam Palace to worship Buddha's relics from tonight, May 25 to May 28.
This is the first time that Buddha's relics have been invited to Vietnam in general and Yen Tu in particular thanks to the close coordination between the Vietnamese Government, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, the Indian Government and international Buddhist organizations.

Previously, Buddha's relics were enshrined at Thanh Tam Pagoda (Ho Chi Minh City); Ba Den Mountain (Tay Ninh); Quan Su Pagoda (Hanoi); Bai Dinh Pagoda (Ninh Binh), Phuc Son Pagoda (Bac Giang). It is known that after Truc Lam Yen Tu Palace, Buddha's relics will be brought to Chuong Pagoda (Hung Yen) and Ngu Hanh Son Pagoda (Da Nang City).
