The “Greening Schools” event series is an activity organized by VinFast at high schools to raise awareness about environmentally friendly vehicles. With the cooperation of traffic police units, the program helps students better understand traffic laws and common situations on the road. In particular, students have the opportunity to better understand the benefits of electric motorbikes for the community as well as sustainable development.

Participating in a similar program for the first time, many students shared their excitement. “I realized that just by changing the way we travel every day, we can also contribute to protecting the environment. Using green vehicles is not a distant dream, and we can start right now,” said Nguyen Thu Ha, a student at Ly Thuong Kiet High School (Hanoi).

Sharing the same view, Pham My Linh, a student at Hiep Binh High School (HCMC) shared that most of the current pollution comes from gasoline and diesel vehicles, causing the environment to become increasingly polluted. Therefore, this young person expressed her wish that everyone join hands to switch to green vehicles, reducing the number of vehicles emitting smoke on the streets.

This is also the opinion of many high school students at schools where the program has been implemented. After only a short time of implementation, up to now, 32 high schools in 16 provinces and cities across the country have participated in the "Greening Schools" event series. Of which, about 48,000 students have been trained in safe driving skills using electric motorbikes from this event. At the same time, nearly 14,500 students have had the opportunity to directly experience green vehicles, thereby having a clearer awareness of the benefits of electric vehicles for the environment and traffic safety.

Teachers hope the program will spread.

Highly appreciating this series of events, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, a high school teacher in Ho Chi Minh City, said that the program not only helps students raise their awareness when participating in traffic but also guides them towards a green and sustainable lifestyle. “The program not only provides knowledge but also helps students experience reality, thereby changing their perception naturally. This is a very effective way of education , which needs to be widely replicated, said Mr. Hung.

Ms. Mai Lan, a homeroom teacher of grade 12 at a high school in Hanoi, also commented that in the context of more and more students participating in traffic, helping them experience and become aware of electric vehicles early will be a good foundation for them to change themselves. "In class, I often talk about the greenhouse effect and air pollution, but when students have direct contact with electric vehicles, it becomes more realistic. I believe that after the program, many students will think more seriously about choosing a means of transportation," Ms. Mai Lan affirmed.

According to Ms. Lan, after the program, many students discussed electric vehicles enthusiastically and expressed their desire to switch to green vehicles in the future. This shows that the program has truly touched the students' thoughts and awareness.
