Both were born into families where one parent majored in engineering. Therefore, they inherited the family's tradition of studiousness and passion for science and technology from a young age.
What is special about Duy Anh and Duy Hoang is that they have been with Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary and High School - Ha Nam since their early years of secondary school until high school. It is this constant companionship, along with the dedicated guidance of Physics teacher Tran Thi Tuyet, and the encouragement from their families, that has contributed to fostering a passion for scientific research, inspiring creativity and a spirit of overcoming limits in these two promising students.
The parents of the two children shared that from a young age, they showed their talent and passion for science and technology. However, in grade 8, when Hanoi National University of Education organized the Robot Creation Contest 2023, under the guidance of Ms. Tran Thi Tuyet, they entered an intellectual playground in the field of science and technology for the first time. And right from the first time, the two children made an impression when they excellently won the Creative Solution Award.
Entering grade 10, the two students' journey of scientific and technological research continued to make an impression when they won the fourth prize in the provincial science and technology competition, the third prize at the Hanoi National University of Education, and also received the Promising prize at the 2025 Robot Creation Competition, all of which are prestigious scientific playgrounds for students with a passion for technology.
The pinnacle of their scientific and technological research journey is the prestigious Gold Medal at the Bali International Science Fair 2025 - an international science competition organized by the Indonesian Young Scientists Association in collaboration with the Malaysian Young Scientists Association from June 19-22, 2025 in Bali, Indonesia. Not only that, their project was also honored with the "Best Poster" award - a subsidiary award for impressive poster design combined with excellent scientific presentation. With the ability to present clearly and coherently, combined with fluent English and persuasive skills, the two students demonstrated their confidence, courage and depth in scientific thinking in front of the jury and international friends. The common point in their award-winning products is that they are environmentally friendly and have high utility value.
Behind the proud achievements, in addition to the two students' persistent efforts, is the dedication, companionship and support from the teachers of the Natural Science Department, the school's Board of Directors and their families. It is the care, guidance and facilitation of the teachers and the learning environment that inspires their passion that has given wings to Duy Anh and Duy Hoang's ideas to become products of practical value and reach out to the world.
