Journey from Italy to Vietnam of the picture book about President Ho Chi Minh

57 years ago in Italy, a book was published about Ho Chi Minh and the two great resistance wars of the Vietnamese people. The book was translated and introduced to Vietnamese readers under the name "Ho Chi Minh - A man and a nation" on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.

The book was published by Vie Nuove Magazine, then the mouthpiece of the Italian Communist Party, consisting of 12 issues, with 12 topics arranged in historical order, told by journalists Paolo Bracaglia Morante and Camillo Pisani. The book combines vivid illustrations by artist Pino Dangelico with many valuable documentary photos, and was published by Vie Nuove (New Roads) magazine in 1968.

A rare publication about the life of President Ho Chi Minh in comic form containing valuable documents about the two resistance wars of the Vietnamese people, especially the comic sections depicting the life of President Ho Chi Minh closely linked to the history of the nation.

It can be seen that since the 60s of the last century, the image and thoughts of Ho Chi Minh have gone beyond the borders of Vietnam and become a source of inspiration for many countries and peoples in the world . The work Ho Chi Minh - A man and a nation is a vivid proof of the strong support and sincere affection of international friends, especially the Italian people, for President Ho Chi Minh and the Vietnamese people.
