Excited about the "English Singing and Public Speaking" competition.

On the evening of June 6th, at Phu Dong Park, the People's Committee of Nha Trang City organized a "Singing and Public Speaking in English" competition. This activity was held in response to the 2025 Sea Culture and Tourism Festival.

The competition involved 26 teams, including 13 public speaking teams and 13 singing teams, from the Women's Union of 22 communes and wards in the city. Each singing team had 1-10 contestants, and each public speaking team had 1-5 contestants. In the English singing competition, the teams performed songs praising nature, life, homeland, and romantic love, in various forms: solo, duet, group singing, and dance. In the English-Vietnamese public speaking competition, the teams presented on topics such as: praising the beauty of Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa province's scenic spots, culture, and people; praising the beauty of the Ao Dai - the traditional Vietnamese dress; the role of women in the family, modern society, environmental protection, and gender equality.

The competing teams performed live in two rounds: preliminary and final. Each team had 5 minutes per performance to present their act, and the judging panel selected 12 teams for the final round. At the end of the competition, the organizers awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and 3 consolation prizes to the winning teams in each category.

The competition was organized to create a beneficial platform for female officials, members, and citizens to practice their foreign language skills, enhance their self-confidence, and showcase their artistic talents; to exchange ideas, learn from each other, and strengthen solidarity among participating units. Through the competition, the aim was to promote the people and image of Nha Trang City to domestic and international tourists; contribute to spreading love for the homeland and country, awaken pride in the city's culture and natural beauty; and raise awareness of the importance of foreign languages ​​in the era of international integration.
