On the afternoon of November 8, speaking with VietNamNet reporter, Mr. Pham Trung Nghia, Chairman of Buon Don District People's Committee, said that the authorities had found the crashed Yak-130 aircraft in Yok Don National Park, Krong Na Commune (Buon Don District) and were currently approaching the scene to determine the next course of action.

On November 6, Air Force Regiment 940, Air Force Officer School, Air Defense - Air Force organized a daily training flight at Phu Cat airport, with Yak-130 aircraft (registration number 210D).

The plane took off at 9:55 and arrived at 10:38. When the flight ended and the pilot returned to land, he reported that the plane's landing gear could not be released. He also took emergency measures to handle the situation but was still unsuccessful.

The pilot reported to the flight commander and was allowed to parachute. By the evening of November 6, both pilots contacted the unit to report their location, after which the search team quickly brought the two men back to safety.
