Mr. Trung always accompanies and helps people in difficult situations.

"At first, I participated in charity activities launched by the locality. Seeing that this work was meaningful, when I learned about many tragic situations, I decided to stand up and do my own charity programs," said Mr. Trung.

From the initial small-scale support activities, Mr. Trung gradually implemented regular support programs, such as: providing free medicine, taking care of lonely elderly people, supporting disabled and disadvantaged students... In addition, he also connected with many volunteer groups, mobilizing benefactors to donate gifts, health insurance cards, scholarships, books, and build charity houses.

"Phu Thuan B is an island commune, where people mainly live on farming, so it is very difficult. Growing up in this poor land, my family was poor, so I understand the hardships of my fellow countrymen. Witnessing many unfortunate lives urged me to do something for them. Although I do not have enough resources to do it, I try to be a bridge to connect charitable hearts," Trung shared.

Every year, Trung mobilizes more than 100 people to help. The person who receives the least help is a few million VND, the most is over a hundred million VND. In addition, over the years, he has also helped more than 10 lonely and sick elderly people.

From 2018 to 2022, Mr. Trung implemented the "Wings of Dreams" program, supporting 10-20 scholarships for disadvantaged students, worth 200,000 VND/scholarship. He connected with newspapers and benefactors to give many special scholarships to students who overcome difficulties to enter university.

A typical example is Huynh Thi Kim Dao (residing in Phu Loi A hamlet, Phu Thuan B commune) is an excellent student, passed the entrance exam to Dai Viet Sai Gon College, but her family is poor and does not have enough money for school. After being connected by Mr. Trung to the program "Lighting up dreams" of Dong Thap Radio and Television Station, Dao received 60 million VND in support. Thanks to that, she had the opportunity to continue studying and now has graduated and has a stable job.

In dire circumstances, Mrs. Bui Thi Ngoc Duyen (residing in Phu Loi A hamlet, Phu Thuan B commune) was fortunate to receive help from Mr. Trung. Mrs. Duyen said that thanks to the 70 million VND that Mr. Trung raised for support, she was able to go to the hospital to treat her spinal injury. "Now that my health is stable, I continue to receive monthly rice support from Trung. His kind gesture makes me extremely touched and grateful. He is truly a knight as the people here often call him," Mrs. Duyen shared.
