Remove division
Thuong Nong is a mountainous commune of Na Hang district, with a terrain of over 90% steep hills. The streams that are usually ankle-deep suddenly become fierce after each heavy rain. The people of Dong Da village, Thuong Nong commune longed for a bridge across the stream to make it easier for people to travel. The expectation became a reality when the project of concreting rural roads and building bridges on rural roads was implemented according to Resolution No. 55/NQ-HDND. The Nam Lon bridge across the stream made of reinforced concrete, 16m long, was completed to the joy of hundreds of households living here. Comrade Hoang Van Cuong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thuong Nong commune, said that before the bridge was built, people had a hard time traveling, especially during the harvest season. In 2024, the Nam Lon bridge was invested in and completed, making people in the area very excited. In addition to serving the travel needs of people, the bridge also helps transport agricultural and forestry products more conveniently.
Goc Tau Bridge, Tien Bo Commune (Yen Son) was completed from Resolution No. 55/NQ-HDND of the Provincial People's Council.
Storm No. 3 in 2024 has passed, the clearest proof of the effectiveness of the completed bridges in eliminating isolation by the raging water. Ms. Ma Thi Giap, Nam Kep village, Hung My commune (Chiem Hoa) recalled that during the flood that year, if there was no Pac Tiu bridge, more than 30 households living in the village would not know where to run to move their belongings, because the stream when the flood water poured in was very dangerous. On the day the bridge was started, everyone in the village was very happy, in order for the bridge to be completed soon and put into use, many households in the village not only voluntarily donated land but also willingly cut down crops, trees... to help the construction unit have a flat surface to build the bridge. Even happier is that now, wherever agricultural products are produced, traders come to buy them, and children can go to school conveniently. The bridge has brought a new life to the people.
In the highland commune of Hong Quang (Lam Binh), the bridges built by Resolution 55 have changed the face of the commune's countryside. Comrade Phu Duc Lam, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hong Quang commune, said: Implementing Resolution 55, Hong Quang commune has had 3 bridges built and put into use. Previously, when there were no bridges, people in Na Kham, Ban Tha, Pa Em, and Khuoi Nga villages mainly waded across streams and over spillways. But in the rainy season, they had to wait for the stream water to recede before they could travel. Therefore, people's communication and travel encountered many obstacles. Now, with 3 new bridges, floods are no longer a fear for the people. It is true that Resolution 55 has removed the "bottleneck" in traffic for the highland commune of Hong Quang.
Determined to complete 39 bridges this year
The bridges and roads formed from Resolution No. 55 of the Provincial People's Council are changing the face of the countryside, overcoming the traffic disruption in localities in the province. According to Mr. Tran Van Sang, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction, the specific goal of Resolution 55 is to invest in building 355 new bridges on rural roads; in the period of 2021 - 2025, to complete the construction of at least 200 bridges; the remaining bridges will continue to be invested in construction in the period of 2026 - 2030. In which, the State invests 100% of the construction costs, and people voluntarily clear the land for the construction of bridges, approach roads and connecting roads. Basically, in places where bridges pass through, people are very supportive, wholeheartedly donate land, and provide maximum support to construction units during the bridge construction process.
The bridge over Na Lech stream, An Vuong village, Tan An commune (Chiem Hoa) is completed, meeting the travel needs of the people.
Currently, the province is implementing the construction of 39 bridges on rural roads. Of which, Na Hang district has 3 bridges; Lam Binh and Ham Yen districts each have 7 bridges; Chiem Hoa district has 8 bridges; Yen Son district has 9 bridges and Son Duong district has 5 bridges. Currently, contractors are urgently constructing, committed to completing all 39 bridges before October this year. Thus, by the end of 2025, 100% of the Resolution's target will be achieved.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Dinh, General Director of Thanh Hung Investment and Construction Company Limited, said that the company is responsible for constructing the items of the community bridge, in which the entire bridge uses beams manufactured with ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) technology produced by the company. Currently, the company is deploying many construction teams, working overtime to complete the bridges soon, ensuring quality. All bridge beams are cast at the company's workshop and transported to the assembly point, however, currently some bridges are built in remote villages, where transportation is inconvenient, and transportation still faces many difficulties. Currently, the company is closely coordinating with local authorities to facilitate transportation and bridge construction on schedule.
The implementation of the construction of bridges for people is of special importance, creating conditions for socio -economic and cultural development, changing the face of rural transport infrastructure, including serving agricultural production, trade of goods, and consumption of agricultural products. At the same time, it contributes to ensuring that the transport network is connected from the province to the district, the district to the commune, from the commune to the villages. From there, a transport system connecting the province, the region, the province, and the region is formed.
