The National Innovation Center at Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park was completed and officially inaugurated on October 28.

After nearly 3 years of construction, tomorrow (October 28), the National Innovation Center at Hoa Lac High-Tech Park (NIC Hoa Lac Campus) will be inaugurated.

The total construction cost of NIC Hoa Lac is nearly 750 billion VND, mobilized from funding sources, contributions from domestic and foreign enterprises in diverse and appropriate forms and through socialized investment.

NIC's Campus 2 is expected to be a key link to complete Vietnam's innovation and startup ecosystem, deeply connecting with the innovation process around the world , and at the same time being an incubator and support for dozens of potential startups, technology businesses, and partners in the innovation ecosystem.

NIC Hoa Lac is designed in the model of an eagle taking off, in which the two wings of the eagle are the two working buildings of NIC.

The center has a working floor area of ​​nearly 20,000 m2, focusing on innovation activities, seminars, forums, creating research and development space, promoting communication and connection, and boosting technology transfer.

Preparations for the inauguration day have been completed.

The center's function is to support and develop an innovation and startup ecosystem, contributing to the innovation of growth models based on scientific and technological development.

Vietnam National Innovation Center is a unit under the Ministry of Planning and Investment , established by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1269/QD-TTg dated October 2, 2019.

From October 28 to November 1, the Vietnam International Innovation Exhibition 2023 (VIIE 2023) will take place at NIC Hoa Lac Campus.

During the 5 days, the exhibition will display and introduce new products and technology solutions in 8 key areas of NIC, including smart factories, smart cities, digital content, cyber security, semiconductor industry, environmental technology, hydrogen technology and medical technology.

It is expected that more than 40,000 people will directly participate in the exhibition activities; of which, more than 2,000 delegates are leaders of central and local agencies, large technology corporations, research institutes, universities and innovation support organizations at home and abroad.

NIC Hoa Lac is located in the Hoa Lac High-Tech Park with convenient transportation, only one hour drive from Hanoi.
