Last night, MU continued to suffer another humiliating result. This time, they really dug deeper into the limits of badness by losing to the ASEAN All Stars, a group of players from Southeast Asia. This is not even the strongest squad of ASEAN as many countries did not provide quality players to participate, and the ASEAN All Stars members only had 2 training sessions together.
Witnessing the stalemate of his players on the field, coach Ruben Amorim had to exclaim in the post-match press conference: "We expected a difficult and tense match in these conditions. The positive thing is that no player was injured. I always feel guilty about this result. As a coach, I have to take responsibility for any result of the team."

The Portuguese coach also admitted that because of their poor performance, his team deserved to be booed from the stands: "The booing from the fans, I think it was necessary. But after every failure, the fans are still with us."
When asked to rate which player impressed him the most from the ASEAN All Stars side, Coach Amorim mentioned Sergio Aguero, the attacking midfielder of the Malaysian team. This 30-year-old player commanded the ASEAN All Stars midfield very well with his high-class touches and handling.
“I think Sergio Aguero is a good player. He controls the midfield quite well,” Amorim said. “ASEAN All Stars have some good players and that’s normal. They deserve credit. They played well and defended very solidly against us.”
