Anthony Martial will miss this weekend's FA Cup final and is likely to leave Manchester United this summer after a disappointing season.

MU once spent about 65 million Euros to Monaco to get Martial, considered one of the greatest talents in world football, but did not get the expected results.

Coach Erik ten Hag decided to make changes in personnel, with Moussa Diaby chosen to replace Martial.

Manchester United scouts have been closely monitoring Moussa Diaby's performances this season.

The Dutch strategist appreciates Moussa Diaby's versatility, in addition to his technical qualities and speed, with intelligent ball handling.

Moussa Diaby has scored 14 goals and been involved in 11 others for Leverkusen this season, a tally Martial cannot match.

The 23-year-old Frenchman is good on both wings, or if necessary as a central attacking midfielder, offering a variety of tactical solutions.

The press reported that Neymar wants to join MU but the deal will not be easy in terms of salary.

According to French press, Neymar is ready to leave Paris after learning that he was once again left out of the club's plans by PSG's big bosses.

Chelsea have been interested in Neymar since last season, Newcastle are also mentioned to have plans to make a shocking move this summer, bringing the PSG star to the Premier League. However, according to The Sun , Neymar has determined that he will only join MU, regardless of any other team, if he leaves Paris.

This is good news for MU, but for the deal to happen is not easy, especially when Neymar still has 4 years left in his contract with PSG with a sky-high salary of about 1 million pounds/week.

That means, Neymar will definitely have to take a big pay cut if he really chooses the Red Devils as his next destination.

Neymar is still the world's record signing after PSG broke his release clause, spending 222 million Euros to sign him from Barca in 2017.

In his latest statement regarding MU's squad, coach Erik ten Hag admitted that he needs a top striker to share scoring duties with Marcus Rashford.
