Vietnam team won 2-1 against Cambodia team at Binh Duong stadium. Hai Long scored a beautiful free kick, then Nguyen Van Vi doubled the gap. Bong Samuel equalized 1-2 for Cambodia team.
After the match, coach Kim Sang Sik commented: "In the first half of the match, I let the Vietnamese team play without a striker. Tuan Hai retreated to midfield, then Hai Long scored exactly as the team had prepared.
In the second half, the intensity of the match was stronger. The Vietnamese team encountered problems when Cambodia had a way to neutralize the game. Quang Hai and Hoang Duc suffered minor injuries, making the game difficult."
The Korean coach recounted the moment Hoang Duc slipped and fell right in front of him. Mr. Kim Sang Sik described: "Every coach is worried when his player is injured. It's true that at that moment I was startled and worried like yesterday."

"Hoang Duc is an important player of the team. When he feels unwell, I will immediately find a replacement to ensure Hoang Duc's performance," Mr. Kim Sang Sik revealed.
Answering the question of why he replaced Trieu Viet Hung early in the 27th minute, the Vietnam coach said: "Trieu Viet Hung may not have played at his full potential like in training. He seemed overwhelmed with excitement."
Mr. Kim Sang Sik also explained why he did not use rookies in this match: "I don't want many changes in this match. What is going well will continue.

I will still analyze and create opportunities for players to gain experience on the field. Most of the senior players in the team have maintained their performance."
