(Baohatinh.vn) - After a period of investment in renovation and upgrading, Binh Son Lake (Huong Khe commune, Ha Tinh province) has been given a "new look," contributing to urban beautification and improving the living environment for local people.

The renovation of Binh Son Lake is a component of the Urban Infrastructure Improvement Sub-project, with the People's Committee of Huong Khe District (formerly) as the investor, and a total capital of over 709 billion VND funded by the French Development Agency (AFD).

Located in the heart of Huong Khe commune, Binh Son Lake covers an area of ​​1.56 km² and features a small island in the middle. The lake functions as a water regulator, preventing flooding, and is a frequent venue for local cultural activities and festivals.

The entire lakebed has been dredged, and the area around the lake and the island has been reinforced with concrete slabs.

The island on Binh Son Lake has been renovated to ensure both scenic beauty and functional use, with the highlight being the statue of President Ho Chi Minh .

The bridge over Binh Son Lake has been renovated, preserving its familiar architectural features while harmonizing with the overall landscape after the renovation.

The technical infrastructure items have been invested in comprehensively.

The sidewalks are meticulously and uniformly constructed. Clean and spacious pedestrian areas not only enhance the urban landscape but also create convenience and improve the quality of life for residents.

Additional trees have been planted along the lake's edge, providing shade, improving air quality, and creating a sense of closeness to nature.

The area around Binh Son Lake has become a familiar spot for locals to stroll and relax.

The noticeable changes in the landscape have made the area around the lake increasingly neat and beautiful, contributing to enhancing the appearance of Huong Khe commune.
