Within the framework of the “Peace Festival”, on the evening of August 18, at the walking street area around Hoan Kiem Lake, a series of cultural and artistic programs were performed by many professional and amateur art units.

Artists from the CAND Drama Theater brought a series of short plays with lots of laughter and meaningful messages. With the short play “Seeing the Face”, People’s Artists Hong Tuan, Hoang Cong, Dao Thanh Mai, Huyen Trang brought the program lots of subtle, profound laughter, and humanistic meaning through the awkward “seeing the face” scene with many funny and sad situations.

The performance of the soldiers and artists attracted quite a large audience even though it had just rained.

“Peaceful Festival” is chaired by the Ministry of Public Security , in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Hanoi People’s Committee to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People’s Public Security Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection. The festival takes place from August 16 to 19 in the walking street area by Hoan Kiem Lake, with many exciting activities such as motorcycle demonstrations, trumpet music, exhibitions, etc.

At the stage of the Hang Khay - Trang Tien intersection, there will be performances of light music and folk music by the CAND Song and Dance Theater. At the stage of the "CAND for the People's Service" Monument, Tran Nhan Tong Street, there will be performances of drums and trumpets by the Drum Art Troupe of the People's Police Academy, the CAND Ceremonial Troupe of the Mobile Police Command, etc.
