Faced with difficulties that businesses have reported regarding the cost of implementing e-invoices, on June 17, the Tax Department of Region II held a conference with the participation of 20 units providing cash register and e-invoice solutions and two commercial banks. The goal is to find practical support solutions for businesses in Ho Chi Minh City.

At the conference, Mr. Phan Van Dung, Deputy Head of the Tax Department of Region II, said that 16,395 business households in Ho Chi Minh City have deployed electronic invoices from cash registers according to Decree 70/2025/ND-CP. However, many business households are concerned about the costs after the promotion period, with an average fee of 200-400 VND/invoice.

To solve this problem, Mr. Dung suggested that suppliers join in reducing costs, contributing to the implementation of the Government's digital transformation policy. In response, "big guys" such as Viettel, VNPT, Mobifone committed to offering a price policy of less than 50 VND/invoice. In particular, Minvoice and Fast announced a preferential price of only 30 VND/invoice. Other suppliers such as Misa , Softdream, Sapo are also researching low-cost service packages to support business households.

In addition, representatives of Viet Capital Commercial Joint Stock Bank introduced free sales solutions and committed to finding partners to develop e-invoice solutions. Meanwhile, VPBank offered preferential loan packages for businesses participating in the e-invoice program, creating favorable financial conditions.

Regarding the situation of some business households that have registered but have not used electronic invoices, Mr. Phan Van Dung said that the Tax Department of Region II has issued Official Dispatch No. 2382/CCTKV02-CNTK, directing tax teams to establish working groups to review, inspect and strictly handle cases of not issuing invoices when selling goods and services.
