Durian prices remain stable in many localities.
The durian market today showed little fluctuation, especially in the Central Highlands and Southeast regions. Grade A Thai durian ranged from 75,000 to 80,000 VND/kg in many provinces such as Gia Lai, Tay Ninh, and Binh Phuoc . In Dak Lak, this grade reached 78,000-80,000 VND/kg. Grade A Ri6 durian maintained its price at 40,000-44,000 VND/kg.
In Dong Nai and the Mekong Delta, durian production is nearing its end, resulting in reduced purchasing volume and stable prices. Some warehouses continue to purchase Grade A and VIP durian at high prices.

The low price of Musang King mushrooms is due to quality issues.
The price of Grade A Musang King durian currently ranges from 58,000 to 63,000 VND/kg in provinces such as Dong Nai, Binh Phuoc, and Dak Lak . This price is lower than that of Thai durian because many orchards in the Central Highlands are experiencing problems with watery and salty-tasting fruit, affecting the quality of the fruit.
Currently, wholesalers only purchase grade A goods, while grades B and C are almost undemanded.
Quality has improved, and prices may increase in the near future.
The favorable weather in recent days has helped improve the quality of durian, especially the Thai and Ri6 varieties. This is an important factor supporting stable prices and a slight upward trend in some areas.
If the weather remains sunny and with little rain, durian prices may increase during the peak consumption period in China for holidays and Tet (Lunar New Year).
Durian exports are showing signs of recovery.
According to statistics from the Customs Department, the export value of fruits and vegetables in the first half of 2025 reached over 3.1 billion USD, with durian accounting for a large proportion. Supply from Thailand is decreasing due to unfavorable weather conditions, creating opportunities for Vietnamese durian to expand its market share.
In particular, China highly appreciates Vietnam's quality control efforts. Businesses have intensified inspections for cadmium and Yellow O dye, and tightened packaging processes, resulting in a steadily increasing percentage of products meeting standards.
