Many solutions have been implemented by banks to support business households in managing revenue more transparently, fulfilling tax obligations more conveniently, and gradually promoting cashless payments and enhancing digital transformation.
Implement various support solutions.
Recently, the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank ( Agribank ) Dong Nai branch (Tran Bien ward) and the Dong Nai City Tax Department signed a cooperation agreement to support business households in transitioning from lump-sum tax to declaration-based tax. Accordingly, the two parties signed a cooperation agreement on coordinating tax policy guidance, supporting business households in digital transformation, and implementing electronic invoices in the city.
According to Tran Thi Hai Ha, Deputy Director of Agribank's Dong Nai branch, the branch aims to support and collaborate with local authorities and tax agencies in helping business households transition to new tax declaration methods, which is one of Agribank's key objectives in 2026. To support these businesses, Agribank has developed comprehensive product and service packages and solutions, almost free of charge until the end of 2027, including sales solutions such as: free provision of sales management software, digital signatures, electronic invoice software, electronic invoice transmission and reception services, report analysis, and balance change notification speakers…
Solutions to support household businesses in the digital transformation process, transitioning from lump-sum tax to declaration-based tax, from tax authorities and related units should aim to improve the effectiveness of communication to minimize concerns and psychological and technical barriers in the implementation of electronic invoices. Instead, focus should be on guiding and supporting household businesses with simple, easy-to-understand, and intuitive steps for digital transformation.

Regarding e-banking solutions, Agribank will offer free payment and money transfer services on digital banking channels such as Agribank Plus and Agribank eBanking for 12 months. In addition, there are payment account solutions such as: offering customers attractive account numbers, free account management for 12 months; and loan solutions with preferential interest rates, shortened loan approval procedures, and overdraft facilities up to 1 billion VND without collateral.
Similarly, in May 2026, the Dong Nai City Tax Department and Kienlong Commercial Joint Stock Bank (KienlongBank) held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement to support business households in transitioning from the lump-sum tax method to the declaration tax method.
Ms. Ha Thi Chung, Deputy Director in charge of KienlongBank's Dong Nai branch, said: Platforms like MyShop HKD are designed to be simple and intuitive, helping customers easily manage revenue, payments, and connect with eTax Mobile directly on their phones. Besides technology, KienlongBank will also directly support customers through local guidance and consulting programs and provide support at branches and transaction offices. The branch hopes that digital transformation will become a practical tool, helping household businesses operate more conveniently, transparently, and efficiently every day.
Improve coordination effectiveness
Many banks in Dong Nai will focus on diversifying electronic transaction channels and digital products for household businesses. New, convenient, and fast solutions for household businesses when opening accounts, ensuring secure usage, have also been researched and promptly implemented by banks, such as: opening accounts via VNeID software, and verifying customer information for household businesses through digital channels.

Ms. Tran Thi Hai Ha emphasized: Through practical implementation, the coordination between localities, banks, and tax authorities has become increasingly close, with many effective working methods being replicated in many wards and communes throughout the city. This has significantly contributed to the transformation of tax declaration for business households and the application of digital technology in tax operations. Thousands of business households have opened accounts and switched to the correct method of tax declaration and payment at Agribank's Dong Nai branch. In particular, in line with the digital transformation, the application of digital solutions helps business households easily monitor tax payments and conveniently declare and report taxes monthly.
In the coming period, Agribank's Dong Nai branch will intensify efforts to provide free sales management software and electronic invoicing software to business households; and will assign staff to promptly support and answer customer questions and address difficulties at Agribank's Dong Nai branch transaction points. Simultaneously, it will continue the three-party working model between Agribank, the tax authority, and the local government (ward/commune) to listen to and promptly resolve difficulties faced by business households during the initial phase of transitioning to a new tax declaration and payment method.
Ms. Ha Thi Chung added: “We want KienlongBank to be remembered not only as a bank providing financial services, but also as a partner accompanying people and businesses in the role of a modern, comprehensive, and sustainable digital bank. Solutions such as digital banking, smart payments, and MyShop HKD will not only facilitate transactions but also support household businesses in managing cash flow more transparently, operating more efficiently, and easily accessing the digital economy in the future.”
Nguyen Toan Thang, Head of the Dong Nai City Tax Department, shared: "Supporting business households in transitioning from traditional management practices to electronic invoice declaration requires intuitive, easy-to-understand, and synchronized support tools for convenient and effective implementation in practice. In the coming time, the Dong Nai City Tax Department will continue to strengthen coordination with the banking system in the city to support business households in promoting digital transformation, implementing electronic invoices, digital signatures, and transitioning from lump-sum tax methods to declaration-based tax methods... in an effective and practical way."
