A serious fire broke out early this morning (April 16) at house number 08 Nguyen Van Huyen, Ba Dinh ward, Thanh Hoa city, causing 2 deaths.
Fire Police and Rescue Force conduct fire fighting and rescue operations.
According to initial information, at around 4:20 a.m. on April 16, Information Center 114 of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department (PCCC) and Rescue Police Department (CNCH), Thanh Hoa Provincial Police received a report of a house fire at 08 Nguyen Van Huyen, Ba Dinh Ward, Thanh Hoa City.
The fire broke out in the early morning of April 16.
Immediately upon receiving the news, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 1, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department mobilized 2 fire trucks, 1 ladder truck, and 1 tanker truck to quickly arrive at the scene to deploy a fire fighting and rescue plan.
Rescue work was quickly deployed.
The three victims were approached by the Fire Police and Rescue Force and brought out safely. The fire was brought under control in just 10 minutes. The Fire Police and Rescue Force continued to search and found two dead victims on the 4th floor of the house.
On the morning of April 16, authorities blocked off Nguyen Van Huyen Street.
According to initial information, at the time of the fire, there were 6 people at house number 08 Nguyen Van Huyen, all family members including father, mother and 4 children. Fire police and rescue forces rescued the 2 homeowners, their husband and wife, and 2 children.
The two girls confirmed dead were born in 2015 and 2019, both children of the head of the household. The four rescued people were taken to the hospital for care.
After the incident, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police sent forces to the scene of the fire, coordinating with local authorities to investigate the cause of the particularly serious fire.
The People's Committee and Ba Dinh Ward Police have also blocked off the scene at Nguyen Van Huyen Street so that functional units can investigate the incident.
