(HNMO) - On the morning of June 9, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha and a working delegation inspected preparations for the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2023-2024 school year at Nguyen Van Huyen Secondary School, Hoai Duc District.
The delegation inspected the facilities of the examination site at Nguyen Van Huyen Secondary School such as: Security room, medical room, examination rooms, functional rooms for exam invigilators...
Vice Chairman of Hoai Duc District People's Committee Nguyen Trung Thuan also reported to the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee on preparations for the local 10th grade entrance exam. Accordingly, in order for the entrance exam to take place safely and achieve high results, the district's sectors and organizations have had plans to best serve the exam, such as: The electricity sector arranged generators at the exam sites, in case of power outages; The district police arranged plans to protect the exam safely and divert traffic to avoid congestion at the exam sites; The district Youth Union arranged a force of volunteer youth to support the exam season...
This year, Hoai Duc has 4,332 students registered for the 10th grade entrance exam. Of which, the number of students registered for the exam at 4 public high schools in the district is 2,755 students; 677 students registered for the exam at high schools outside the district. To serve the exam, the district has arranged 7 exam sites including: Hoai Duc A High School, Hoai Duc B High School, Hoai Duc C High School and Van Xuan; Song Phuong, An Khanh and Nguyen Van Huyen Secondary Schools (Yen So Secondary School is a backup site)...
Work to ensure security, order, traffic safety, healthcare, disease prevention, fire prevention, and electricity supply at the examination sites has been completed; each examination site has 20 to 30 young volunteers to support and help candidates and their families.
Speaking after the inspection, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha highly appreciated the preparation of Hoai Duc district for the 10th grade entrance exam in the 2023-2024 school year, and at the same time reminded the district's functional departments about traffic safety, because currently some roads in Hoai Duc are in the process of upgrading, ensuring security and order, preventing epidemics, fires and explosions... during the exam.
