- On the afternoon of January 7th, the Lang Son Provincial International Health Quarantine Center held a conference to summarize its international health quarantine work in 2025 and to plan for 2026. Attending the conference were leaders from the Department of Health, its specialized departments, and all staff and employees of the center.

In 2025, the Provincial International Health Quarantine Center closely followed the directives of higher authorities, implementing comprehensive and effective health quarantine work in border areas and disease prevention and control at border gates, achieving and exceeding 20 out of 21 assigned targets.
Notably, the unit has conducted health quarantine for over 2.1 million incoming passengers (achieving 129% of the target), over 2.1 million outgoing passengers (achieving 129.2% of the target), over 464,200 imported vehicles (achieving 119% of the target), and 1,483 incoming cargo ships (achieving 148.3% of the target).
In particular, at Huu Nghi International Border Gate and Tan Thanh Border Gate, the unit promptly detected and screened 81 cases of hyperthermia, with no cases of Group A infectious diseases or other dangerous diseases recorded. This prevented outbreaks at the border gates and prevented dangerous infectious diseases from entering the interior of the country.
Water hygiene monitoring was carried out regularly with 97 samples tested (achieving 107.8% of the target) , all indicators were within permissible limits ...
At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and analyzing the achievements, while also pointing out some difficulties and obstacles in implementing border health quarantine procedures, infrastructure conditions, and expanding the digital border gate platform at some border gates.
In 2026, the center aims to successfully implement several key tasks and achieve major targets such as: continuing to refine professional procedures to suit the digital and smart border gate model; improving the quality of human resources and the effectiveness of inter-agency coordination; promoting digital transformation and administrative reform; collecting approximately 48 billion VND in medical quarantine service fees; and ensuring that 100% of individuals passing through border gates undergo medical checks and monitoring.

During the program, the leaders of the Department of Health presented certificates of commendation from the Director of the Department of Health to one collective and 10 individuals who had achieved outstanding results in the emulation movement to implement the 2025 work plan, and awarded the title of "Outstanding Emulation Soldier at the grassroots level" to 13 individuals.
