Focus on site clearance

Tuy Hoa City is clearing land for 70 projects, including projects invested by the province and projects invested by the city. The locality prioritizes urgent projects, while the remaining projects are being implemented according to schedule.

Mr. Tra Kim Hoi, Director of the Management Board of Investment, Construction and Land Fund Development of Tuy Hoa City, said: From now until the end of June, the city will focus on urgent projects invested by the province. These are 2 social housing projects with an area of ​​4.6 hectares belonging to 2 projects: technical infrastructure south of Sao Viet Eco- tourism Area and residential area west of An Phu Submarine Nursing Center; urban residential area adjacent to the north of Tran Phu Street, phase 1; 2 road projects including the coastal road of Phu Yen province connecting Tuy An district with Tuy Hoa city and Nguyen Huu Tho street from the west of the Provincial General Hospital to Nguyen Trai street and from Le Thanh Phuong street to Nguyen Tat Thanh street; Ho Son regulating lake project and surrounding infrastructure; land for implementing the Phu Yen Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital Project.

Resolution 125/NQ-CP and Resolution 126/NQ-CP, dated May 9, 2025 of the Government, approved the Project on rearranging provincial and commune-level administrative units in 2025. Accordingly, 12 commune-level administrative units of Tuy Hoa City are arranged into 3 wards including Phu Yen Ward, Tuy Hoa Ward and Binh Kien Ward. Clearing the land to speed up the implementation of key projects of the province will create momentum for the development of the 3 wards in the future. Because the above works and projects are essential infrastructure associated with the inner city center and the coastal area.

“In these projects, there are 3 projects with a clearance rate of over 90%. Currently, there are 16 subjects that have not yet handed over the land. The city has planned to enforce the 6 subjects in May and June; the remaining households will receive compensation and hand over the land according to the new adjustment plan. For the remaining projects, to clear the land soon, the unit has conducted surveys, measured and created cadastral maps, implemented the work of land ownership, determined land prices and developed compensation, support and resettlement plans for affected households…”, Mr. Hoi shared specifically.

Mr. Bui Van Bo, a resident in Ward 5, said: Since the Ho Son regulating lake came into operation, this place has become one of the important highlights of the landscape space of Tuy Hoa city. Households living nearby like my family also find life more vibrant and colorful. However, this project is still not complete because a few households have not yet moved to hand over the land. I really hope that the Ho Son regulating lake space and surrounding infrastructure will soon be completed to increase the aesthetics of Tuy Hoa urban area.

Ensuring the aesthetics of marine space

According to Mr. Nguyen Thai Tuyen, Deputy Director of Tuy Hoa City Public Service Management Board, currently 6 companies are exploiting the beach and water surface of Tuy Hoa sea area. They are IALC Vietnam Co., Ltd., Phu Yen Tourist Trading and Service Co., Ltd., Thien Quang Fashion Joint Stock Company, Viet Beach Housing Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company, HT Trading, Service and Communication Co., Ltd., Viet My A&V Trading and Service Investment Joint Stock Company. These companies are exploiting the business of soft drinks and souvenirs. Up to now, the construction is still temporary, not commensurate with the central coastal location of the province. In particular, the units have not been able to implement water sports activities... To overcome the remaining limitations, the city has organized inspections and reminded these businesses to comply with the signed contracts.

According to Mr. Nguyen The Son, representative of Phu Yen Tourist Trading and Service Company Limited, to ensure aesthetics, the company uses wood and lightweight concrete materials with an aesthetic design and open space to create connections between the business area and the road, coast and water surface. For sea sports activities, the unit has gathered vehicles including canoes, jet skis, parachutes... and has been granted a certificate of eligibility to operate sports activities by the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. However, the unit has not yet implemented it in practice because it needs to complete a course on vehicle management and operation to ensure safety for tourists...
