
This afternoon, September 30, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Tri Thanh and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Phi Hung co-chaired a discussion on "Promoting the role, improving the quality and effectiveness of the supervision work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, socio-political organizations and people on cadre work and cadres and party members".
Opening the discussion, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Le Tri Thanh said that, besides the achieved results, the supervision work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and socio-political organizations on cadre work and cadres and party members still has not met the requirements of building and rectifying the Party and a clean and strong political system in the current period.
Accordingly, some localities have not been proactive and bold in implementing activities to monitor the work of cadres and cadres and party members. The number of monitoring sessions on this content is still too small. The monitoring content is not comprehensive; the monitoring forms are not diverse...

The report introducing the discussion said that recently, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province chaired the organization of 2,451 supervisions, of which 211 supervisions had content related to cadre work and cadres and party members (accounting for 8.6%).
Meanwhile, political and social organizations at all levels chaired 5,801 thematic supervisions, but only 37 were related to personnel work and cadres and party members (accounting for 0.64%).
In reality, the supervision of cadres and party members has only been mainly implemented in the system of the Fatherland Front at all levels. The Fatherland Front in many localities is still hesitant, not bold and confused in choosing the content and objects of supervision of cadres and party members.
At the seminar, delegates discussed and exchanged the actual situation and experience in supervising the work of cadres and cadres and party members; difficulties and obstacles; and proposed and recommended specific contents and solutions that need to be strengthened in leadership, direction and organization of implementation, in order to continue promoting the role, improving the quality and effectiveness of supervision work on cadres and cadres and party members in the coming time.
