International business encompasses all commercial exchange and transactions, including the transfer of goods, services, resources, people, ideas, and technology between countries. As the name suggests, international business is highly global and integrated.

Students who choose to study this major will be equipped with professional knowledge and specific skills in international payments, foreign trade insurance, international trade disputes, and methods for entering foreign markets. In addition, students will learn several soft skills such as negotiation, bargaining, and business problem-solving skills.

Therefore, after graduation, students majoring in International Business can confidently work in many different positions: Sales and import/export specialists in manufacturing and business units, trading companies, import/export companies, representative offices, shipping and air transport agents, insurance companies; import/export staff and assistants; teaching and research at universities and colleges.

According to surveys, the average income in Vietnam for international business professionals ranges from 6-9 million VND per month for employees and from 20-40 million VND per month for managers. Highly qualified individuals who choose to work in import-export logistics companies, multinational corporations, or trading companies can earn salaries ranging from 30-150 million VND per month.

The University of Commerce admits students to the International Business major through 5 methods: direct admission and priority admission, admission based on high school graduation exam scores, admission based on academic transcripts of students from specialized/national key schools, admission based on results of aptitude and thinking skills assessment exams, and combined admission.

Based on the high school graduation exam scores, this major has a minimum admission score of 27 points (A00; A01; D01; D07). Tuition fees range from 2.3 to 2.5 million VND per month.

National Economics University - 2024, admission to the International Business major will be based on 3 methods: admission based on high school graduation exam scores, direct admission, and combined admission according to the university's admission plan.

In 2023, using the high school graduation exam scores as the admission criterion, this major had a cutoff score of 27.35 points (A00, A01, D01, D07). The expected tuition fee for the new academic year ranges from 16 to 22 million VND per year.

The University of Economics ( Da Nang University) recruits students for the International Business major through the following methods: considering high school graduation exam scores, considering high school academic transcripts, direct admission, and direct admission through a special method.

In 2023, using the high school graduation exam scores as the admission criterion, this major had a cutoff score of 26.5 points (A00; A01; D01; D90).

The University of Economics and Law (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City) - in 2023, offered the International Business major in two programs with the following admission scores: 26.52 points for the Vietnamese program (A00; A01; D01; D07) and 26.09 points for the English program (A00; A01; D01; D07).

For the 2023-2024 academic year, the school has set tuition fees at 25.9 million VND per year for the Vietnamese language program and 51 million VND per year for the English language program.

The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) offers two majors within the field of International Business: International Business and Foreign Trade. In 2024, the university admitted students through three methods: based on high school graduation exam scores, based on the results of the National University of Ho Chi Minh City's aptitude test, and based on high school academic transcripts.

In 2023, the International Business major had a minimum admission score of 26.5 points based on high school graduation exam results (A00; A01; D01; D07). The tuition fee was approximately 24.8 million VND per year.
