How are private preschool children supported with tuition fees?
The National Assembly has passed a resolution on tuition exemption and support for preschool children, high school students, and students of general education programs in educational institutions within the national education system, applicable from the new school year 2025-2026.
According to the Resolution, from September 1, 2025, all students nationwide from preschool to 3 months old, general education students, and students studying general education programs in public educational institutions will be exempted from tuition fees. Tuition support will be provided for preschool children, general education students, and students studying general education programs in private and non-public educational institutions. The level of tuition support will be decided by the People's Councils of provinces and centrally-run cities according to the tuition fee framework prescribed by the Government but not exceeding the tuition fee level of private and non-public educational institutions.
