Previously, the Ministry of Education and Training announced a draft of the admissions regulations with a series of changes: limiting the number of applications to 10, considering only the first 3 applications for teacher training programs, eliminating traditional subject combinations, and adding points to SAT and IELTS scores... The hottest questions from students will be answered: "If I have both SAT and IELTS scores, will I get points added for both?", "I studied using the old subject combination, how do I switch to the new one?", "How do I register safely with 10 applications?"...
Associate Professor To Van Phuong, Head of the Training Department at Nha Trang University, shared: "The 2026 Exam Season Counseling Program of Thanh Nien Newspaper always accompanies students in their major decisions. The program has become the most reputable and reliable information channel for students, parents, and universities. This year, with major changes in the admission regulations, students need timely answers even more to develop appropriate study strategies and application preferences."

This is important preparation for the journey of young people's growth."
In addition to counseling services, this year's program is also special with dozens of exhibition booths from universities, colleges, vocational schools, study abroad centers, and language centers ready to welcome students to visit and learn more information.

In addition, students will have the opportunity to visit the Robotics Laboratory, the Aquatic Life Museum, the Fishing Gear Museum, and the modern learning spaces of Nha Trang University.
Minh Thu, a 12th-grade student from Lac Long Quan High School (Khanh Vinh commune), couldn't hide her excitement: "I've been counting down the days to participate in the program. I want to hear the teachers explain the new regulations clearly, because if I've been studying according to the old subject combinations, how should I adjust them now?"
At the event, the organizers will award 35 Nguyen Thai Binh scholarships to students with good academic achievements and a strong desire to succeed.
To facilitate students from distant areas, Thanh Nien Newspaper is providing 20 free shuttle buses from Dien Khanh, Cam Lam, Khanh Vinh, Ninh Hoa, and Cam Ranh. The program is broadcast live on thanhnien.vn, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok – so that all students and parents, no matter where they are, can watch and ask questions.
