With the research topic of new fuel to help promote power transmission efficiency and reduce production costs for solar cells, guided by teachers in the Vietnam Physics Association, students Nguyen Anh Hoang and Hoang Duc Tam ( Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted), Pham Quang Duc and Chu Quang Huy (Hanoi National University of Education High School for the Gifted), Nguyen Dac Khoa (Nguyen Sieu High School) excellently conquered the judges and won the gold medal.
Mr. Hoai Nam, Deputy Director of the Institute of Energy and Environmental Science and Technology, shared: "The research topic of the student group at the competition is creative and highly applicable. Green energy and renewable energy will be the leading industry in the future, so the direction of your research contributes to promoting the passion for research of young people and developing the solar energy industry thanks to innovation in discovering high-performance materials at lower costs. At school age, the passion for applied scientific research is more important than research results, I strongly believe that this research will promote the big dreams of students". The World Invention and Creativity Olympiad is a prestigious competition held annually to create opportunities for students, students and young investors to discuss and introduce their country's advances in science, technology and invention engineering with creative and practical inventions and innovations. This year's competition welcomed the participation of nearly 2,000 students from nearly 140 teams from 25 countries with the most developededucation systems in the world (Australia, USA, Canada, Korea, Germany, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia...) with many different research topics.
