(QNO) - After 3 days of exciting competition in Hoi An, this afternoon, March 26, the 2023 Quang Nam Provincial Women's Football Championship (5-a-side) ended with the final match between Dai Loc and Hoi An.
In the group stage, Hoi An lost 1-2 to Dai Loc. However, the more they played, the more significant progress the Hoi An girls showed, especially when they defeated a strong candidate for the championship, Thang Binh, in the semi-finals. Therefore, the confrontation between the two teams was considered equal.
Entering the final, both teams played with dedication, continuously creating dangerous attacking situations like in the previous meeting. However, Hoi An was the team that successfully took advantage of the opportunity with the only goal, bringing a minimal 1-0 victory over Dai Loc.
With the victory in the final match, the Hoi An girls won the championship cup completely deservedly. This is also a reward for the efforts of the home team, not disappointing the Hoi An audience who came to watch in large numbers and cheered the team throughout the journey in this year's tournament.
In addition to the championship title belonging to Hoi An, this year's awards were given to Dai Loc for second place, and the two teams Thang Binh and Tay Giang for third place.
