The beauty of labor on Moc Chau tea hills

At any time of the year, Moc Chau district (Son La) is always surrounded by the vibrant green of tea hills. After more than 60 years of "nursing and taking root" on the plateau, through many ups and downs, tea trees are not only a specialty that helps people develop the economy but also attracts tourists from all over the world to enjoy and check-in, contributing to building the image of Moc Chau tourism.

One of the places that you definitely cannot miss when you have the opportunity to travel to Moc Chau is the tea hills with rows of tea in neat rows, green as if you are lost in a mysterious maze in Europe.

The image of farm girls in Moc Chau with baskets full of young tea buds on their backs, their hands nimbly picking tea is a typical and beautiful scene of this land. The girls, usually Muong or Thai, in traditional costumes, create a vivid and impressive picture, attracting tourists.

Each season of the year, coming to Moc Chau tea hill, you will see different scenes. Usually, farmers often cut and prune large tea trees from December to February.

From March to September and October is the most beautiful time of Moc Chau tea farm. The tea trees have begun to receive the first drizzle, contributing to the vitality of the tea trees that have begun to sprout new buds. People also begin to harvest the first tea buds of the year.

This image also shows the connection between people and nature, between productive labor and traditional cultural beauty.

Contestants: Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and over

The award consists of two categories: Photo and Video .

Each contest category (photo and video) will have one First Prize worth 50,000,000 VND, two Second Prizes worth 30,000,000 VND, three Third Prizes worth 15,000,000 VND, 10 Encouragement Prizes worth 5,000,000 VND, one Most Voted Work Prize worth 5,000,000 VND.

The Organizing Committee encourages and will award a creative prize in each category (photo and video) worth 20,000,000 VND for works with new ideas, creativity in content and form of expression.

In addition, the Organizing Committee will award monthly prizes including First, Second, and Third prizes to the highest voted works of the month in each category.

The Jury will select the award through two rounds of Preliminary and Final, both online and in person.
