Since the beginning of the year, the War Veterans Association at all levels in the province has focused on thoroughly grasping and comprehensively implementing the key tasks of the association. The associations at all levels have proactively grasped the security and order situation, the people's situation, and carried out propaganda and mobilization work for the masses, cadres, and members to develop the economy , clear land, care for the lives of people with meritorious services, and implement the project of rearranging administrative units at all levels and building a 2-level local government model. Currently, the War Veterans Association at all levels manages 404 savings and loan groups for more than 13,500 households with a total outstanding debt of more than 675.6 billion VND. The War Veterans Associations in districts and cities have organized the presentation of 122 gratitude savings books from the gratitude fund with a total amount of 610 million VND; visited and presented 112 gifts to sick War Veterans Association members in difficult circumstances with a total amount of 56 million VND.
Veterans at all levels actively participate in economic development.
In the last 6 months of the year, the Provincial Veterans Association has set out 8 key tasks for the association. It focuses on doing well in political education and ideological orientation for members; participating in building and protecting the Party and the government; encouraging veterans to help each other develop the economy and promote charitable activities. Strengthening education on patriotic and revolutionary traditions for the younger generation, coordinating well in selecting citizens to join the army in 2026; propagating and mobilizing people to maintain political stability at the grassroots level.
