TASS reported that on June 20, a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member states opened in the Belarusian capital Minsk.
At the meeting, the foreign ministers are expected to review the results of multilateral cooperation within the CSTO and discuss prospects for future cooperation.

The parties also discussed the international and regional situation and its impact on the security of member states, and proposed measures to strengthen relations with foreign countries. The meeting also discussed the idea of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko that the CSTO should study approaches and proposals related to the shaping of the future Eurasian security architecture. The CSTO currently has six members: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
