On June 3rd, the Association for the Promotion of Learning in Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward organized the "Program to support disadvantaged students in striving for academic excellence" for the 2025-2026 school year.

According to Mr. Do Viet Anh, Chairman of the Association for the Promotion of Learning in Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward, in recent years, the work of promoting learning and talent has increasingly revived the nation's tradition of valuing education, creating trust among the people; encouraging and supporting teaching and learning, and creating conditions for the development of education in the locality.

Over the years, the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward Education Promotion Fund has received attention and support from many organizations, businesses, and philanthropists through sponsorship and donation activities. These are noble gestures and generous hearts that contribute to spreading the humanitarian meaning of promoting education and talent development in the ward. From these social resources, the Ward Education Promotion Association has awarded scholarships and gifts to hundreds of excellent and underprivileged students who are diligent in their studies; especially those who have achieved outstanding results in city, national, and international competitions, and students from disadvantaged backgrounds who always strive to excel in their studies.

To ensure that the work of promoting learning and talent continues to be effective in the future, Mr. Tran Duc Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward, suggested that the Ward's Association for the Promotion of Learning continue to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws on promoting learning and talent, and building a learning society; promote the core role of the Association in coordinating with political and social organizations and forces in the area; and maintain and improve the quality of activities to commend and reward outstanding students and support students and university students in difficult circumstances.

Currently, Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward has over 700 students with good academic results but difficult family circumstances. At the ceremony, the Ward's Education Promotion Association presented gifts to 100 outstanding disadvantaged students who were nominated and selected.
