Ms. Dang Thi Le Thuy - President of the Provincial Women's Union said, imbued with the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh : "Emulation is patriotism, patriotism requires emulation, those who emulate are patriots", in recent years, the Provincial Women's Union has continued to promote and well implement emulation movements and campaigns with many rich and diverse contents and forms, attracting a large number of people, members and women to respond and participate.
Through that, more and more typical advanced examples have appeared in various fields and have been widely replicated, commended and rewarded promptly, contributing to the completion of socio -economic development targets and tasks, ensuring national defense and security in the province.
Many female groups and individuals have succeeded and become managers, leaders, business owners, entrepreneurs, cooperatives, contributing to the general development of society as well as the movement of the locality and unit.

Especially during the complicated COVID-19 pandemic, all levels of the association, members and women have promoted the spirit of "mutual love", mobilized and supported necessities, and contributed working days to participate in logistics work at concentrated quarantine areas and checkpoints. In particular, all levels of the association organized visits, presented 150,000 gifts, and awarded 5,000 scholarships... The total cost of implementing the activities was more than 20 billion VND.
Implementing the movement "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" in the province, all levels of the association joined hands to support the construction of 311 new houses, repair 140 houses; support the construction of 1,255 sanitation works, 11,044 clean water works...
With the “Godmother” program, all levels of the association actively responded and spread it. Currently, the whole province has 1,649 children being sponsored and cared for regularly, with an average support level of 200,000 VND to 2 million VND/month/child. Of which, the Provincial Women's Union has sponsored and cared for 3 orphans in Nam Giang, Tay Giang and Hiep Duc districts, with a support level of 500,000 VND/month/child.
The program "Accompanying women in the border areas" continues to be implemented by the association at all levels in phase 2 (2020 - 2025) with many meaningful activities for members and women in the border areas. From 2021 to present, it has supported the construction of 30 charity houses, 6 "Green - clean - beautiful - bright border area" projects, 1 children's playground, 6 sanitation facilities, awarded more than 7,700 gifts, 1,518 scholarships...
The association at all levels has promoted its role in participating in the construction of new rural areas with 1,309 projects and tasks implemented. In 2022, the pilot model "Family of 5 haves, 3 cleans" was launched. Up to now, 267 models of "Family of 5 haves, 3 cleans" have been built in areas of advanced new rural construction, model new rural areas, civilized urban areas...
At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union honored 148 typical and advanced individuals and collectives in implementing emulation movements in the period 2020 - 2025.
