From July 21 to 27, delegations of the Provincial Women's Union visited and presented gifts to 4 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, including Mother Huynh Thi Chinh, who is regularly cared for by the Provincial Women's Union in My Ngai Ward. In addition, the Union visited 30 families of policy beneficiaries and war invalids in difficult circumstances in the border communes of Tan Thanh, Thuong Phuoc and the coastal commune of Go Cong Dong.
Each gift includes 1 million VND in cash and necessities, with a total value of nearly 40 million VND. Although the material value is not large, each gift contains deep affection, the sincere gratitude of the cadres, members and women of the province towards those who have silently devoted and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
At each destination, the delegation kindly visited the health and life of the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and families with meritorious services. As for Mother Huynh Thi Chinh, who is over 90 years old this year but still lucid, when visiting her, comrade Nguyen Thi Cuc, Permanent Vice President of the Women's Union of Dong Thap province, was moved to express: "On behalf of the Women's Union of the province, we would like to send our best wishes to Mother for good health, a long life to continue to be a shade and a spiritual support for our children and grandchildren. We always cherish and deeply appreciate the silent sacrifices that Mother and many generations of women have devoted to the Fatherland. The Union will continue to accompany, support and spread Mother's story as a beautiful symbol of patriotism, sacrifice and resilience of Vietnamese women".

Not stopping there, the Women's Union of Dong Thap province also visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, families of policy beneficiaries, war invalids and martyrs in the whole province, attended the ceremony to visit the provincial Martyrs' Cemetery; at the same time, attended the memorial service and burial of martyrs' remains at Tam Nong Martyrs' Cemetery.
At the Provincial Women's Union, the War Invalids and Martyrs' Day Memorial Ceremony was also solemnly and respectfully held - as an incense offering to the heroic female martyrs who sacrificed for the country and made many contributions to the provincial women's movement through the ages.
