On April 8, the Party Executive Committee of Binh Lieu district held the 23rd conference to discuss the situation and results of the implementation of tasks in the first quarter; directions and key tasks in the second quarter of 2025. Comrade Vi Ngoc Bich, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council attended and directed.
In the first quarter of 2025, the collective Party Executive Committee of the district, the Standing Committee of the Binh Lieu District Party Committee closely followed the direction of the Central and the province, the working theme for 2025 "Breakthrough in economic development, creating momentum for the new term" and the requirements of local practices to focus on leadership and direction right from the beginning of the year and achieved important results. The work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system was focused on, creating positive changes. The district organized the study, dissemination, serious and complete implementation of directives, resolutions, conclusions, and directive documents of superiors; did a good job of orienting the ideology of cadres, party members and people to agree with the policy of merging a number of provincial-level administrative units, not organizing at the district level, continuing to merge commune-level administrative units, affirming and strengthening trust in the Party.
The district focused on directing the implementation of key socio-economic development tasks in the year regarding national target programs; state budget revenue and expenditure; public investment; tourism development, implementation of the year's work theme... Production value reached 627.62 billion VND, equal to 100% of the first quarter scenario plan and increased by 14.69% over the same period. The economic structure continued to shift towards increasing the proportion of the service industry. The investment and business environment, investment promotion activities, support and companionship with enterprises were focused on. Education and training had many results. Social security and welfare were ensured; the material and spiritual life of the people was improved. Political security, social order and safety were ensured, national border sovereignty was maintained, foreign affairs activities were strengthened, and no sudden or unexpected incidents occurred.
At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying the achieved results as well as the shortcomings and limitations and proposed solutions to implement the targets and tasks in the coming time.
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Vi Ngoc Bich, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, requested that in the coming time, Binh Lieu district needs to continue to thoroughly grasp, enhance responsibility, identify the Party's major policy in arranging, organizing the apparatus, merging administrative units as a particularly important task, lead and direct not to interrupt economic, social tasks, Party building and the political system affecting people's lives. In the process of organization and arrangement, it is necessary to closely follow the growth scenario to focus on organizing and implementing well the tasks of Party building and the political system, and managing economic and social development. Continue to complete the Project on arranging administrative units and organizing the apparatus, promote information and propaganda work, create consensus among cadres, party members and people on the work of arranging and streamlining the apparatus of the political system. Implement well social security policies.
