Conference on contact with voters between People's Council delegates at 2 levels (province, ward) and voters of Doan Ket ward

(laichau.gov.vn) This afternoon (August 18), the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward coordinated with the Standing Committee of the People's Council and the People's Committee of Doan Ket ward to organize a meeting with voters after the 2nd Session of the 4th Doan Ket Ward People's Council, term 2021 - 2026 between the People's Council delegates at 2 levels (province, ward) and voters of Doan Ket ward.

At the Conference, the Provincial People's Council delegates informed voters of the results of the thematic sessions of the Provincial People's Council held in the first 6 months of 2025 and the results of the 30th session of the Provincial People's Council, term XV, 2021 - 2026. In particular, the 30th session of the Lai Chau Provincial People's Council, term XV, 2021 - 2026 took place in 2.5 days (from July 21 to 23, 2025). At the Session, the Provincial People's Council conducted a comprehensive and in-depth assessment of the implementation of the socio -economic development plan, ensuring national defense and security, budget revenue and expenditure estimates, disbursement of public investment capital plans in the first 6 months of the year, and tasks for the last 6 months of 2025. The Session also reviewed and approved reports, 18 resolutions; decided on other issues within the tasks and powers of the Provincial People's Council.

Provincial People's Council delegate Tong Thanh Binh informed about the results of the thematic sessions of the Provincial People's Council held in the first 6 months of 2025 and the results of the 30th session of the Provincial People's Council, term XV, term 2021 - 2026.

Including many resolutions to meet the activities of the two-level local government such as: Resolution on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Regulation on decentralization of revenue sources, expenditure tasks and percentage of revenue sharing among budget levels in the province for the period 2022 - 2025 issued together with Resolution No. 56/2021/NQ-HDND dated December 10, 2021 of the Provincial People's Council; Resolution on amending and supplementing a number of articles of Resolution No. 16/2022/NQ-HDND dated June 28, 2022 of the Provincial People's Council on regulations on principles, criteria, and norms for allocating central budget capital and local budget counterpart capital to implement the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021 - 2030, phase I: From 2021 to 2025 in the province; Resolution on the authority to decide on approving tasks and budget estimates for purchasing, repairing, renovating, upgrading assets and equipment; renting goods and services; repairing, renovating, upgrading, expanding, and constructing new construction items in invested and constructed projects under the management of Lai Chau province...

Delegates of the People's Council of Doan Ket Ward informed about the meeting of the People's Council of the Ward, term IV, 2021 - 2026.

Also at the Conference, the Ward People's Council delegates informed voters of the results of the Second Session of the Ward People's Council, term IV, 2021 - 2026. The session was held in 1 day (July 30) with 95/109 delegates attending. At the session, personnel work was carried out; 11 resolutions were discussed and approved, including many important resolutions such as: Resolution on the Socio-Economic Development Plan, ensuring national defense and security in 2025 to implement 2-level local government; Resolution on the Decision on the establishment of cadres, civil servants and public employees in administrative agencies and organizations; the number of people working in public service units and labor contracts according to Decree No. 111/2022/ND-CP of the Government receiving salaries from the State budget in administrative agencies and public service units under the People's Council and People's Committee of Doan Ket Ward in 2025; Resolution on renaming residential groups with the same name, converting villages into residential groups under Doan Ket ward in 2025...

Voters speak at the Conference

At the Conference, Doan Ket ward voters made a number of recommendations to the People's Council delegates at all levels, specifically: Creating favorable conditions to support the reduction of the poverty rate in the area; continuing to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, issuing land use right certificates, investing in infrastructure, expanding cultural houses, upgrading internal roads and residential groups, reducing notarization time at state agencies; repairing damaged domestic water pipes; investing in some internal roads; arranging waste treatment areas; strengthening propaganda for people to clearly understand the planning of each type of land to ensure proper use according to the law...

Representatives of the People's Committee of Doan Ket ward answered and received voters' opinions at the Conference.

Representatives of the People's Committee of Doan Ket Ward listened to, accepted and responded to a number of voters' recommendations at the Conference, and affirmed that the People's Committee of Doan Ket Ward will continue to direct and organize the implementation of issues under the authority of the ward. For other contents, the People's Committee of the ward will report to the competent authority according to regulations.

Comrade Ha Trong Hai - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, delegate of the Provincial People's Council spoke at the Conference.

After listening to the responses of the representatives of the People's Committee of Doan Ket Ward, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Provincial People's Council delegate Ha Trong Hai affirmed that the opinions expressed by voters were legitimate to ensure that people's lives were getting better and better. Emphasizing that in the first 6 months of the year, the province faced many difficulties but still made efforts to achieve the growth target of 8%. Also in the first 6 months of the year, the province made efforts to eliminate over 7,000 temporary and dilapidated houses with the joint efforts of organizations, individuals, philanthropists and the people's self-reliance. The whole province is effectively implementing the 2-level local government model, which will promote the development of localities in the province.

Regarding the voters' recommendations, at the Conference, the leaders of the People's Committee of Doan Ket Ward responded and accepted them. Regarding the issues that have not been implemented, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committee of Doan Ket Ward to seriously accept and resolve them according to regulations in the coming time, especially the work of eliminating temporary houses, dilapidated houses, granting land use right certificates, implementing planning, paying attention to land allocation to ensure community activities, housing land for ethnic minorities, promoting administrative reform to best serve people when coming to transact...
