Over 551,000 students who passed the university entrance exams have confirmed their enrollment.

After the first phase of online enrollment confirmation on the Ministry of Education and Training's university admissions system ended, according to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training, the number of candidates admitted to universities in 2024 on the system was 673,586, the number of candidates who confirmed their enrollment in the first phase was 551,479, and the enrollment rate/admission rate was 81.87%. This year, a total of 733,652 candidates nationwide registered for university admissions.

The Ministry of Education and Training also provided data on candidates who confirmed their enrollment in the first phase of 2024, along with comparison data to 2023, as follows:

Previously, educational institutions had announced the 2024 university admission scores based on the results of the high school graduation exam and the results of the university admissions system of the Ministry of Education and Training, and announced the results of the first round of admissions according to the general schedule.

After receiving the admission results, candidates must confirm their enrollment online for the first phase on the Ministry of Education and Training's university admissions system before 5 PM on August 27th.

After this period, starting from August 28th, if the enrollment quota has not been met, the schools will announce supplementary admissions.

From September to December 2024, universities will conduct subsequent admission rounds, update the list of admitted students, and enroll them according to regulations.
