More than 6,000 people attended the Vietnam - Japan cultural exchange program 2025

(NLDO) – The Vietnam-Japan cultural exchange program at Dong A University has received high praise from the Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang City after 10 times of organization.

On March 20, Dong A University organized the Vietnam - Japan cultural exchange program in 2025 with many unique cultural exchange activities.

The 10th time the Vietnam - Japan Cultural Exchange Program 2025 was held, attracted more than 6,000 participants in the festival's contents. Speaking at the opening session, Mr. Mori Takero - Consul General of Japan in Da Nang City acknowledged the hard work and perseverance of the organizers and congratulated Dong A University on the 10th anniversary of the Vietnam - Japan Cultural Exchange event at the school.

Along with the vibrant cultural exchange activities is the development of a partnership network of 8 provinces and cities, 13 universities and academies, and more than 130 large and small corporations and enterprises, which are good support for students' post-graduation employment, including many alumni of Dong A University who have found jobs and built successful careers at businesses in Japan or Japanese businesses in Vietnam.

Vietnam - Japan Cultural Exchange is an annual program organized by Dong A University.

At the opening session, 16 more Vietnam - Japan bridge scholarships were also awarded to students of various majors participating in the 1-year internship program in Japan from the second quarter of 2025. Accordingly, Omdo Overseas Human Resources Exploitation Organization (Japan) has awarded scholarships worth 3-5 million VND/scholarship to students of Tourism , Automotive Engineering Technology, Nursing and Japanese Language majors participating in internships at Japanese partners.

The total value of the scholarship this time is up to nearly 70 million VND in addition to support throughout the Japanese language and professional learning process before departure as well as the time of internship and work in Japan of students.
