Honor launches iPhone-like smartphone with massive 8,000 mAh battery

Honor has just officially introduced Honor Power, the first smartphone in its Power product line, in the Chinese market.

The Honor Power looks quite similar to Apple's modern iPhone models but impresses with its massive 8,000 mAh battery - making it one of the smartphones with the largest battery capacity today.

The Honor Power's 8,000 mAh battery is not only superior in capacity, but is also designed with silicon-carbon battery technology to provide higher energy density than conventional lithium batteries. According to Honor, this battery can provide up to 25 hours of video playback, 23 hours of TikTok use, more than 23 hours of navigation, and 14 hours of gaming.

Notably, even equipped with an 8,000 mAh battery, Honor Power still ensures a slim design at only 8 mm thick and weighs 209 grams, while supporting 66W fast charging that allows full charge from 3% in just 68 minutes.

Surprisingly low price for Honor Power

The Honor Power's standout specs include a 6.78-inch (2,700 x 1,224 pixels) 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 4,000 nits. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 (4nm) processor clocks up to 2.63GHz, with RAM and internal storage options of 8GB/12GB and 256GB/512GB respectively.

The device runs on MagicOS 9.0 operating system based on Android 15. On the back is a triple camera system with a 50 MP main sensor, a 5 MP ultra-wide sensor and a 16 MP selfie sensor. In terms of price and release market, Honor Power is currently only available in China with prices ranging from 272 to 340 USD for the 8/256 GB and 12/512 GB configurations, respectively. However, in the initial period, Honor is applying product discount incentives with prices starting from only 231 USD.
