Meeting to discuss plans for the 2024 Indonesia Meeting

On the afternoon of October 6, Mr. Le Huu Hoang - Permanent Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee had a working session with Mr. Nguyen Nhu Hieu - Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs (under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ) on organizing the Meeting with Indonesia conference in 2024, in Khanh Hoa province.

The 2024 Indonesia Meeting Conference, scheduled to take place from March 20 to 22, 2024, will be attended by about 300 to 350 delegates from ministries, departments, sectors, localities, embassies, and business associations of Vietnam and Indonesia. During the conference, delegates will focus on discussing and proposing solutions to strengthen and expand cooperation between Vietnamese localities and Indonesia in a number of areas where both sides have potential and strengths, such as: Cooperation in fisheries development; tourism; renewable energy; infrastructure; high-tech agriculture... The conference is an opportunity to connect Vietnamese localities and enterprises with Indonesian partners; a place for investors and enterprises of both sides to meet and seek investment and business cooperation opportunities. In addition to the main session, the conference will also have thematic discussion sessions. In addition, the delegates also visited, surveyed and worked at economic zones and industrial parks in the province. To prepare for the conference, the leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs requested the Provincial People's Committee to support some contents: Arranging the venue; developing a program for field surveys of economic zones and industrial parks in the province; reception work to welcome delegates and guests...

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Huu Hoang said that the contents expected to be presented at the 2024 Indonesia Meeting conference are very urgent and suitable to the current situation, as well as the conditions of the province. After this meeting, the Provincial People's Committee will report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee for opinions on organizing the conference. Upon receiving the approval to organize the conference, the Provincial People's Committee will coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Indonesian Embassy in Vietnam in organizing the 2024 Indonesia Meeting conference. It is requested that relevant departments and branches of the province prepare the contents for the conference according to the proposal of the Department of Foreign Affairs. When the conference takes place, Khanh Hoa province will try its best to organize it successfully.
