On the morning of January 16, the City People's Committee announced the decision to establish 3 project management boards on the basis of merging 6 project management boards under the City People's Committee previously; at the same time, appointing key management positions.
Specifically, establish the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Civil, Industrial and Technical Infrastructure Works in Da Nang on the basis of merging the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Civil and Industrial Works in Da Nang with the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Infrastructure for Urban Development in Da Nang.
Establish the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Traffic and Agricultural Works in Da Nang on the basis of merging the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Agricultural Works and Rural Development in Da Nang with the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Traffic Works in Da Nang. Establish the Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects in Da Nang City on the basis of merging the Management Board of Infrastructure Development Projects for Industrial Parks and High-Tech Parks in Da Nang with the Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects for Construction of Infrastructure in Da Nang City.
Regarding the organizational structure, the management boards will have 4 departments including: Organization - Administration Department, Finance - Planning Department, Appraisal Department and Operation - Supervision Department. The handover and acceptance work for the project management boards to start operating will be carried out in January 2025; the newly established project management boards after the merger will officially operate from February 1, 2025.
The City People's Committee announced decisions on personnel work. Mr. Nguyen Huu Nhat, Director of the Management Board of Investment Projects for Urban Development Infrastructure Construction in Da Nang, was appointed as Director of the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Civil, Industrial and Technical Infrastructure Works in Da Nang from February 1, 2025. Mr. Nguyen Minh Huy, Director of the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Traffic Works, was appointed as Director of the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Traffic and Agricultural Works in Da Nang from February 1, 2025.
Mr. Le Thanh Hung, Director of the Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects of Da Nang City, was appointed as Director of the Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects of Da Nang City from February 1, 2025. On this occasion, the City People's Committee announced the decision on early retirement for Mr. Nguyen Huu Hinh, Director of the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Civil and Industrial Works in Da Nang and Mr. Vo Tien Dung, Director of the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Agricultural Works and Rural Development in Da Nang.
