Houston-USA: Conference connecting Associations and Enterprises in the fields of Industry-Energy-Trade and Services

On November 10, 2025, aiming to expand market relations, connect businesses in the fields of Industry - Energy - Trade - Services between Vietnam and the United States in the last months of 2025 and orientation for 2026, the Consulate General of Vietnam, the Trade Office Branch in Houston coordinated with the Trade Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to co-organize a dialogue conference with Associations, the US Small Business Development Center (SDBC - Small Business Development Center) and many businesses of the two countries attended.

The event was attended by representatives of business leaders, leaders and officials of the Vietnamese Consulate General in Houston, representatives of the Trade Promotion Agency - Ministry of Industry and Trade , a number of foreign agencies and many businesses, associations and economic-trade experts from the two countries (many representatives of foreign agencies, industrial parks, associations, and experts participated online from Vietnam and from states in the United States).

Mr. Hoang Thuy Duong - Consul General of Vietnam in Houston opened the event, highlighting the importance of economic - trade relations, bilateral trade promotion and the role and valuable contributions of large enterprises of the two countries and the orientation of the Vietnamese Government to bring the Vietnam - US relationship to a new height; strategies and plans to bring the Vietnamese economy into the era of national growth in the coming period.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen - Head of the Vietnam Trade Office in Houston chaired the roundtable discussion with Economic - Industrial - Commercial Associations and businesses of the two countries with the topic: Future economic situation - impact on agricultural activities, energy and import-export activities of Vietnam and the United States.

In the discussion, the ACC-Asian Chamber of Commerce Association announced the program to attend the year-end event in 2025, activities to support over 700 Asian business members in import-export and investment; the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce Association - https://www.iaccgh.com/ introduced the potential for cooperation between Vietnamese businesses and the US-India community; the focal points are industrial partners, consultants in the fields of economics - trade - import-export - investment.

Thematic content: Trade, Investment and Export Promotion - Impact on the Import-Export and Logistics sectors was presented by the Trade Promotion Agency, Ministry of Industry and Trade - Mr. Nguyen Ba Hai, Deputy Director of the Trade and Investment Promotion Center on investment opportunities in Vietnam in the context of restructuring the global supply chain. The conference connecting Associations and Enterprises in the fields of Industry-Energy-Trade and Services in Houston has attracted the attention of many Associations and enterprises of the two countries. Immediately after the event, representatives of SDBC - Small Business Development Center and ACC (Asian Chamber of Commerce) have planned to invite leaders of SBA (Small Business Administration - US Small Business Administration in Houston) to continue working with the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the occasion of the working group of the Department of Foreign Market Development (Ministry of Industry and Trade) to work in Houston at the end of November 2025 to concretize the cooperation goals, support enterprises and entrepreneurs of the two countries in Trade - Investment Promotion, import-export and industrial services.
