On the morning of May 19, at the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue City, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hue City held a flower offering ceremony to President Ho Chi Minh and opened the exhibition "Cultural Heritage Space of President Ho Chi Minh in Hue".
Mr. Phan Thanh Hai, Director of the Department of Culture and Information of Hue City, said that Hue is honored and proud to be the place that left a strong mark on the 10 years that President Ho Chi Minh and his family lived, worked, studied and participated in patriotic activities in two periods (1895-1901 and 1906-1909).

In addition to the system of relics and memorial sites associated with his childhood and his family that are still being preserved, embellished, and promoted in value, intangible cultural heritages about him are also being researched, collected, and compiled by the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue City, contributing to spreading more spiritual values about President Ho Chi Minh in the community, actively contributing to building the ideological, moral, and lifestyle foundation for all classes of people today and tomorrow.
The exhibition "Cultural Heritage Space of President Ho Chi Minh in Hue" consists of 2 parts: Cultural Heritage Space commemorating President Ho Chi Minh in Hue and Artistic Ceramic Space "Hue with Uncle Ho" with 200 documents, images, and artifacts introducing the cultural heritage of President Ho Chi Minh in Hue.
The exhibition introduces to the public a system of extremely valuable tangible heritage with nearly 20 relics and relic sites. Of which, 4 relics are ranked by the Prime Minister as special national relics; 5 city-level relics and a number of other relic sites.
In particular, the exhibition introduces to the public two intangible cultural heritages about him, including: Rituals and traditions bearing the Ho family name of ethnic groups in the western part of Hue city; Folk poetry praising President Ho Chi Minh.

In the exhibition space, the public can participate in the space reenacting the Ho family name ceremony in 1969 performed by historical witnesses and artisans in A Luoi district; listen to artists and artisans sing folk songs praising President Ho Chi Minh that were passed down in Hue during the resistance years and still exist today; admire traditional handicraft products with the theme of President Ho Chi Minh. In addition, the exhibition also displays 40 ceramic works organized by the Ho Chi Minh Museum, the Hue City Fine Arts Association and the University of Arts, Hue University from March 10 to May 10.
On this occasion, many meaningful activities also took place in Hue City to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, such as organizing the Duong No Village Festival with the theme "Duong No - May Journey" at Duong No Village Communal House and Uncle Ho Memorial House in Duong No Village.
The festival program includes: Opening ceremony of the festival; lotus procession and offering flowers and incense to President Ho Chi Minh; children's painting exhibition on the theme of President Ho Chi Minh; experience making paper lotus flowers, folk games; local traditional handicrafts; painting festival with the theme "Children follow Uncle Ho's words".../.
