Guidelines for implementing preferential allowances for teachers of students with disabilities

(Dan Tri) - Nghe An teachers who directly teach in classes with disabled students will receive preferential allowances, applicable from the 2025-2026 school year.

On the afternoon of September 9, Mr. Thai Van Thanh, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An, said that the Department has issued a document guiding the implementation of preferential allowances for teachers teaching disabled students using the integration method in the 2025-2026 school year.

According to regulations, teachers (teachers, lecturers) assigned to directly teach in classes with at least one disabled student will receive preferential allowances.

The allowance is calculated according to the formula: Incentive allowance = Salary per hour of teaching x 0.2 x total actual teaching hours in classes with disabled students.

In which, the salary for 1 teaching hour is determined according to Circular 07, including salary according to grade, salary allowance and difference coefficient (if any). The teaching hour norms for preschool and primary school teachers are applied according to newly issued circulars.

The People's Committees of communes and wards are responsible for directing educational institutions to prepare budget estimates and lists of teachers receiving benefits, and send them to the Department of Culture and Social Affairs for synthesis and submission to the Department of Finance for approval before September 30. After receiving funding, schools must complete the documents and pay teachers promptly according to regulations.

Heads of educational institutions are responsible for arranging and assigning teachers to teach students with disabilities, and ensuring the accuracy and honesty of allowance records.

Nghe An Department of Education and Training also requested the People's Committees of communes and wards to direct serious and timely implementation...

"If any difficulties or problems arise, they must be promptly reported so that they can be summarized and submitted to competent authorities for consideration and resolution...", Mr. Thanh emphasized.
