In order to call for, mobilize and encourage the participation of state agencies, social organizations, businesses and consumers in related activities; gradually turn Consumer Rights Day into an important driving force and highlight in socio-economic life, contributing to building a healthy business and consumption environment in the province , on October 31, 2024 , the People's Committee of Cao Bang province issued Plan No. 2935/KH-UBND on Organizing activities in response to Vietnam Consumer Rights Day (NTD) 2025 in Cao Bang province.
The theme for the activities of Vietnam Consumer Rights Day 2025 is: "Transparent information - Responsible consumption". At the same time, in the process of implementing the activities, it is necessary to combine and integrate the contents of Resolution No. 82/NQ-CP promulgating the Government 's Action Program to implement Directive No. 30-CQ/TW dated January 22, 2019 of the Central Party Secretariat on strengthening the leadership of the Party and the State's management responsibility for the protection of consumer rights. Activities for consumer rights are encouraged to be organized and implemented throughout 2025, focusing on peak periods of business and consumption such as: New Year's Day, Lunar New Year, shopping seasons or peak shopping days in the market.
The Department of Industry and Trade has issued a documentrequesting production and business enterprises, supermarkets and traditional marketsin the province to actively participate in responding to Vietnam Consumer Rights Day 2025 through activities such as: organizing the hanging of banners and propaganda slogans at enterprises, production and business establishments and on the online business interface of the unit; actively organizing trade promotion programs with diverse and attractive content (discounts, customer gratitude, ...), through many channels (direct and online) to increase consumer benefits, promote effective business activities of enterprises, create bridges and interactions between parties; organize public events aimed at the consumer community (such as participating in fairs, exhibitions, product displays and introductions, ...);improve the efficiency of production and business activities associated with the responsibility of protecting consumer rights; Building and maintaining good relationships with consumers, making the responsibility of quickly and fully meeting consumers' requirements and wishes the driving force for development and competitive advantage of businesses in the market.
In addition, the Department of Industry and Trade and related units in the province organized many practical activities such as: Organizing the photo contest "Vietnamese Goods" - "Aspiration to reach far" in the province; build a reportage broadcast on Cao Bang Television; send propaganda messages about Vietnam Consumer Rights Day (March 15) to mobile subscribers in the province ; hanging banners and slogans at headquarters, markets, supermarkets, production and business establishments, residential areas ; organizing training courses on food safety knowledge for organizations and individuals producing and trading food ; strengthening inspection and control of quality and products circulating on the market through sampling and testing of food products managed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, especially during peak periods of business and consumption, such as New Year's Eve, Lunar New Year, etc. Thereby promptly detecting, preventing, warning and recommending cases at risk of food contamination and food poisoning in the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
